Mission Impossible's Rebecca Ferguson Joins Men in Black Reboot

The Men in Black reboot had already been shooting for a while, but news has it that a new cast member has been added to the roster. What's more, she's starring in one of the biggest action movies of the year.

According to Deadline, Mission Impossible's Rebecca Ferguson has been cast in a ‘plum role' in the Men in Black reboot. In MI, Ferguson plays the role of agent Ilsa Faust, and was introduced back in 2015's Rogue Nation.

We don't have any specific details, but some are convinced that she is playing a very important role in the film. My best guess is that she's going to be playing another MIB agent who is not necessarily from the UK branch. We know Ferguson could hold her ground in an action movie, and it would make sense that this film would want to hone in on that.

Ferguson will be joining a cast which includes the likes of Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth as the leads. The film also has Liam Neeson, Kumail Nanjiani, Emma Thompson, and Rafe Spall listed in the cast.

So far we don't have an official synopsis for the Men in Black reboot, but rumor has it that the story will focus on new MIB agent Em (Thompson) as she is shown the ropes by washed up Agent H (Hemsworth). It's also said that they will be travelling the world in an attempt to solve some kind of murder case.

The Men in Black reboot is set to come out May 14, 2019, and you can catch Ferguson in theaters now with Mission Impossible: Fallout.
