Mission: Impossible Star Tom Cruise Lashes Out at Crew for Violating COVID-19 Protocols

Things are heating up on the set of Mission: Impossible 7 and no, I'm not talking about the death-defying stunts and action sequences they're pulling off while filming. This one is some serious off-screen drama. The franchise's lead actor Tom Cruise is reportedly involved in an intense altercation with the film's crew who allegedly violated COVID-19 protocols.

The Sun first reported the news and they got dibs on an alleged audio recording of Cruise's on-set meltdown. No details about the said violation were given but Cruise can be heard in the leaked audio recording shouting at the crew and even going as far as threatening to fire them should they violate another protocol. "If I see you do it again, you're f***ing gone. And if anyone in this crew does it, that's it — and you too and you too. And you, don't you ever f***ing do it again." Listen to it here.

Clearly, Cruise was only after the best interest of the people working on the Mission: Impossible franchise sequel but I gotta say, things could've been handled privately and I don't think there was any need for him to lash out at his crew and even threaten them to take away their jobs. Of course, he's only human and I guess throwing a little temper tantrum every now and then is normal but considering it's already been broadcast on several news sites, Cruise better issue an apology.

Mission: Impossible 7 is slated for release in November 2021.
