In episode two, Kuroitsu was forced to go on a business trip as a replacement of Sadamaki who was food poisoned. The trip took place in Kyushu, and Kuroitsu was tasked to observe a small evil organization, which is similar to their group. She is accompanied by Megistus who Kuroitsu admired because of how he can efficiently work in the company and do his other tasks while still getting enough rest. He even gave her his hotel room as he would be working overnight.
A new assistant joins the Monster Development Department. Bete, who has a cute wolfgirl body, is the newest member of the team. The team will focus on Cannon Thunderbird, who is a bird monster with mecha body parts. The team will work with other departments to get the mechanical parts needed.

Since episode two release of the series has been moved to a later date because of the sudden volcanic eruption and tsunami, the schedule of episode three has been changed to align with it.
