Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Season 2 Episode 9 Recap
Elma notices that their company overworks their employees too much. By consulting with Kobayashi and Takiya, Elma decides to push for better working conditions, going as far as sending multiple proposals. Kobayashi is amazed at Elma's perseverance. The director, Shōta's dad, calls them to his office. The three of them thought that they were going to be fired or something, but it turns out that he just wanted to meet the friends of Lucoa.
On Elma's day off, Saikawa, Kanna, and Shōta visit her apartment. They ask if she can chaperone them for a picnic in the mountains. While Elma was distracted by the water, the kids walk off to explore. Elma panics upon realizing that she couldn't find the kids, which caused her to turn into a dragon in front of Saikawa for the second time. Shōta immediately cast a spell on Saikawa to fall asleep while Kanna calls Elma's attention.
Elma invites Tohru to battle. Fafnir and Kobayashi are observing. While they're fighting each other, Elma reveals that she misses Tohru and wants Tohru to treat her the way she did before, when they were still journeying together. They share a heartfelt moment, and the two reconcile.
