The collective wish of the Star Wars fandom was finally answered thanks to The Mandalorian Season 2 which marked the live-action debut of Bo-Katan Kryze. Not only that but in the spirit of true fan service, Lucasfilm recruited Katee Sackhoff of Star Wars: The Clone Wars fame to play the character she voiced in the animated universe. Unsurprisingly, the reception to Bo-Katan's live-action debut was met with a generally positive reaction from fans and she is set to be one of the central figures of The Mandalorian's third season.

Turns out, that's not the only thing we can expect from the famed Mandalorian warrior in the so-called MandoVerse. That Hashtag Show is reporting that Sackhoff is being eyed to lead her own spinoff series set in the aftermath of The Mandalorian Season 3.

Katee's The Mandalorian co-star Ming-Na Wen even posted about the rumor on social media, seemingly confirming that major plans are in place for the actress. The star of The Book of Boba Fett would later delete the tweet which further fueled speculation about the alleged project. Nothing has officially been confirmed as of writing but the idea of Bo-Katan getting her own series doesn't sound too farfetched especially with Lucasfilm's desire to expand the MandoVerse.

Now, this rumor pretty much suggests that Bo-Katan isn't going anywhere after Season 3 and it looks like Lucasfilm has big plans for the character. As it stands, no other details about the project have been disclosed but it would be safe to assume that the dynamic duo of Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni is going to be in charge of it.

Meanwhile, The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to premiere later this year.
