The organization of Monarch was introduced back in Kong: Skull Island, and with Legendary gearing up for the release of Godzilla: King of Monsters next year, a new teaser reveals that Monarch will once again have something to do with the next Monsterverse movie.
Check out the teaser:
Seeing that Monarch was alive and well during the 70s, it looks like the facility will have been abandoned come Godzilla: King of Monsters. Then again, it would just mean that the organization has moved to a more secure and secret location. You think that would be necessary when all the facility does is search for giant Kaiju monsters.
Now the teaser doesn't really reveal much, and a lot of people are guessing that this was just released to hype us up for the actual trailer that is set to come out at the San Diego Comic-Con by the end of the week. I have to say, Millie Bobby Brown is still one fantastic actress.
We already have an image of Godzilla teased, but what people really want to see are the other three Kaiju coming to clash with him in the film. We have yet to see Rodan, Mothra, and the three-headed dragon, Ghidorah.
Catch Godzilla: King of Monsters in theaters May 31, 2019.
