Sylvester Stallone isn't the only one with a cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – according to the blogger Sarah Ruhlman, Guardians director James Gunn and Marvel president Kevin Feige revealed during a press junket that Miley Cyrus would also be part of the film.
According to the Ruhlman, the popular singer, songwriter, and actress is lending her voice as Mainframe.
Though he doesn't know all the details of the appearance, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star Dave Bautista also seemingly confirmed the cameo in a recent interview. Speaking with The Huffington Post, Bautista said that he's "heard that she's uncredited and a voice somewhere."
For those who aren't that familiar with the character, Mainframe is an alternate version of Marvel's vision who works with the Guardians. The cameo would definitely be a neat surprise for fans of the original Guardians comics.
Celebrity cameos are always fun to spot out, and with the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie earning both critical and financial success, it isn't any surprise to find a bunch of Hollywood stars in the film's sequel.
Starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Kurt Russell, and Elizabeth Debicki, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled to release on May 5, 2017.
