Michelle Williams is currently in talks to join Sony's Venom movie starring Tom Hardy, Variety reports.
According to sources, Williams would play a district attorney and possibly the love interest of Hardy's character, Eddie Brock.
Williams recently received an Oscar nomination for her role in Manchester by the Sea.
Zombieland's Rubin Fleischer will direct the film, which is described as a horror take on the Spider-Man villain.
Rogue One's Riz Ahmed has reportedly been cast to join the film but his role is still unknown .
Venom will be seperate from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and reports suggest that Carnage will be the main villain of the film.. It's set to release in theaters on October 5, 2018.
