Though Michael J. Fox may not be appearing onscreen so much these days, he manages to be a pop-culture icon thanks to the Back to the Future movies. What's interesting is, he's decided to reprise the role of an older Marty McFly in a teaser for Lil Nas X's upcoming video titled Holiday.

While Fox only appears near the end, it's possible that he could be doing more in the official video. I mean, why else bring him along if they're only going to have him in the one scene from the teaser?
It's actually interesting that Fox would appear in this video, seeing as he had recently made headlines when he updated the world on the state of his Parkinson's disease. Talking to People, Fox had explained that his ‘short-term memory is shot,' and that he's having a hard time memorizing his lines—a crucial skill when it comes to acting.
Though Fox hasn't been appearing in too many films or series, he did say that he's been focusing more on writing. He says, "My guitar playing is no good. My sketching is no good anymore, my dancing never was good, and acting is getting tougher to do. So it's down to writing. Luckily, I really enjoy it."
If anything, it's very interesting to see what Fox is going to do in the Lil Nas X video. Besides the obvious Back to the Future III callback, there's also a reference in there for The Santa Clause films. Catch Holiday when it comes out on Nov. 13.
