Michael B. Jordan Is The New Val-Zod Superman In Brand New Image

DC fans might have fallen in love with Henry Cavill's take on the Son of Krypton ever since he first appeared as Superman in the DC Extended Universe's Man of Steel, but there have been rumors that Warner Brothers has been planning to take the British actor out of the franchise soon.

Though there hasn't been any official confirmation from the studio, fans have been placing their bets on other actors who might be able to take Cavill's place as Superman. With word spreading that DC might be interested in bringing a black version of the Man of Steel to the big screen, there have been fans hoping that Warner Brothers might cast Black Panther actor Michael B. Jordan in the role.

Now, with Cavill busy working on Netflix's The Witcher series, a new piece of fan art helps give fans an idea of what Jordan might look like as the Val-Zod version of Superman in the DCEU.

Digital artist jscomicart just recently posted a new art piece showcasing Jordan as the new Superman. Though the material of the suit looks very much like Cavill's version of the Man of Steel, it does have Val-Zod's white chest emblem and a white cape to replace Superman's signature red and blue colors.

Check it out down here:

"@michaelbjordan would be an outstanding Superman! ? he's always so endearing, it's hard to root against him. Even as a villain he made people fall in love with him! please make it happen!!! @wbpictures ," the artist petitions in his post.

For those who aren't familiar with the character, Val-Zod is one of the last Kryptonians of his universe and the second character to take on the Superman mantle.

What do you think of the artwork? Would you want to see Jordan as the new Superman? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
