Mental Coach Jegal Episode 12 Recap

Jegal Gil rushes to Cha Ga Eul after she leaves the hospital because of Han Yeo Woon. She tells him she likes him again and asks him to allow her to do so, even just for a day. Park Seung Ha warns him about the actions he just did, but he assures her he will not date an athlete.

Instead, he explains that he also faces countertransference since he sees himself in Cha Ga Eul.

Lee Moo Kyeol, on the other hand, stays with Han Yeo Woon in the hospital as she deals with a dreaded health issue. He also urges her to get the biopsy. As he stays with her, he starts thinking about whether he also likes Han Yeo Woon.

After the biopsy, they detected a malignant tumor that might cause her to give up the Olympics. However, she insists on participating in the World Cup and the Olympics.

Cha Ga Eul then tells Lee Moo Kyeol that he likes Han Yeo Woon, causing him to open up to Jegal Gil.

Meanwhile, Goo Tae Man learns that Jegal Gil threatened the gymnastics referee they paid to make Kang Han Na win the competition. They also try to do the same plot during the Taekwondo Regionals. After Coach Oh Dal Sung tells them to get rid of the mental coach, Goo Tae Man agrees, leaving Cha Moo Tae anxious.

Jegal Gil, on the other hand, rejects Cha Ga Eul by telling her he never saw her as a girl, but he saw himself in her.

Lee Moo Kyeol also understands his feelings toward Han Yeo Woon. After their conversation, she decides to hold a press conference to announce the national team and focus on her treatment. Cha Ga Eul kisses Jegal Gil for the first time and expresses her love for him. However, someone records the whole event.

During the Taekwondo Regionals, Jegal Gil notices that the referee has been announcing fouls, although nothing is wrong. He then remembers the fight he had with Goo Tae Man in the past.

It turns out Cha Moo Tae bribed the referee, causing Jegal Gil to confront him about his actions. Cha Moo Tae warns him that he might lose a friend if he continues interfering with their plans.

Pictures of Cha Ga Eul and Jegal Gil kissing surface, but Goo Tae Man decides to use her to target the mental coach's weakness.

But Jegal Gil immediately comes up with a solution and files his resignation. He also challenges him for a rematch 10 years after their fight.
