Melancholia is a new tvN Kdrama starring Sweet Home actor Lee Do Hyun and Chicago Typewriter star Im Soo Jung. The series premiered on November 10, 2021 and is scheduled to air every Wednesday and Thursday.

Melancholia Episode 6 Recap
Melancholia Episode 6 sees Seung Yoo confessing his love for his Math teacher Yoon Su. He gives her a personalized frame of her picture which was taken during their educational trip to Jeju.
However, Yoon Su gets overwhelmed after Seung Yoo’s confession. She tries to reject Seung Yoo’s love in the less hurtful way she can, but the latter takes it seriously.
Thankfully, Seung Yoo managed to separate his emotions as he prepares for the midterm examinations. The teachers are also busy coming up with the questionnaires, especially for the math exams.
On the other hand, Gyu Yeong blackmails Seung Yoo that he will tell everyone that he fell in love with their teacher. As Yoon Su is set to get married in a few days, Seung Yoo warns Gyu Yeong to not do anything that will harm her.
Just in time for the midterm exams, Ye Rin’s mother got her hands on the answer sheet for the math questionnaire. Ye Rin memorizes the answers and was confident that she will ace the test. But, Ye Rin had one mistake while Seung Yoo got a full mark.
Yoon Su finds something suspicious in Ye Rin’s midterm answer sheet and after talking to a fellow teacher, they sum up that there might be someone leaking the questionnaires to the students.
Meanwhile, Jung Ah seems to have revealed Seung Yoo and Yoon Su’s photos during the latter’s wedding.

Melancholia Episode 7 already aired on December 1, 2021, Wednesday at 10:30 PM KST. New episodes for the series are aired every Wednesday and Thursday on tvN.
International fans are able to stream Melancholia online through Viki and Viu with English subtitles. The series releases new episodes on Viki and Viu hours after its original network’s release.

Melancholia Episode 7 preview sees years after Seung Yoo’s days as a high school student. Seung Yoo comes as a genius mathematician who received countless recognitions domestically and internationally. The preview hints that Seung Yoo had returned to the country and Jung Ah wants to meet him.
On the other hand, Seung Yoo enters Asung High School as a faculty member. During his stay as a teacher, he coincidentally reunites with Yoon Su.
