Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any public appearances in weeks.
The couple also skipped Prince Philip’s memorial service at Westminster Abbey last month. And it’s unclear when their fans would catch a glimpse of the Sussexes again. There were whispers that the couple could be invited to attend Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding, but sources revealed that they were snubbed by the newlyweds.
Brooklyn Beckham Didn’t Invite Meghan Markle, Prince Harry To His Wedding
According to Metro UK, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle weren’t invited to attend Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding, which was quite a surprise. After all, David and Victoria Beckham attended the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s royal wedding in 2018.
Reports also confirmed that the Beckhams invited Prince William and Kate Middleton to the star-studded event but the Cambridges politely declined the invitation. The Beckhams were also guests at Prince William and Middleton’s royal wedding in 2011.
“David and Victoria wrote to William and Kate inviting them and the family to their son’s wedding, and William replied wishing them a great deal of joy but they are unable to attend. David’s attachment and history go back to William and Kate they have a very strong relationship and they were their choice of wedding guests. It was always about them, it was never about Meghan and Harry,” a source told Mirror UK.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Would’ve Been Criticized If They Attended David Beckham’s Wedding
Before Prince Harry and Markle were snubbed by the Beckhams, there were predictions that they could attend last weekend’s wedding. And if this pushed through, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would’ve received a slew of criticisms. Last week, Ranvir Singh already slammed the couple.
“Do you now think that Meghan and Harry will actually be at this wedding? I'll give you my short, sharp answer. I don't think so, I will be very surprised. I think there was a possibility and I was told right up until the last minute, there was a possibility of Meghan being at the Oscars. I don't think they're going to be there. The latest was... there's a great rumor of having charter jet issues. I'd be very, very surprised and with everything that's going on, I don't think so. And it is a bit like when you're organizing a wedding, do we invite my mum and dad's friends?” Singh said (via Express).
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Skipped Several Events
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were also rumored to be attending the Oscars earlier this month. But it was later revealed that they weren’t invited to the controversial event that saw Will Smith slapping Chris Rock. Sources were speculating about the couple’s attendance especially since they decided to skip Prince Philip’s memorial last month. They said that it would be upsetting if Prince Harry and Markle would attend an event after they decided to skip the memorial.
However, the Duke of Sussex previously said that he won’t return to the United Kingdom until he sorts out his issue with the British security. So, it’s possible for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to also skip the queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June.
