Meghan Markle and Prince Harry signed lucrative deals with Spotify and Netflix months ago. However, they have not released new content for both platforms.
At the end of 2020, the couple released the first episode of their podcast on Spotify, but they have not released a second installment. Prince Harry and Markle also have some projects in the works for Netflix, but royal fans are getting impatient because no one knows for sure when they will become available.
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Warned By Royal Expert Over Lack Of Content
On his YouTube channel, royal expert Neil Sean warned Prince Harry and Markle about not releasing new content for Spotify and Netflix. He said that it’s only a matter of time before the couple loses future deals with other brands.
“Let me give you a bit of advice Harry and Meghan, it's not as simple or as easy you possibly think. You have to think of content and then more importantly you have to produce it, write it and maybe hopefully get an audience on top of all that. So, it's not as easy as they possibly thought but when you become a major celebrity like Harry and Meghan are now, the bigger problem is you have a golden period. Everybody wants to sign you, you get invited to things like the Oscars. You get offered all these mega deals as we saw the books deal along with is worth a lot of money even though he's going to have to deliver some rather tawdry asides to make sure that people feel they've got their value for money,” Sean said.
If Prince Harry and Markle do things right, they could end up making more money because more companies and brands would want to work with them.
“Everything hinges now for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the next level of content that they will deliver to the public. If it's a spectacular success, they are guaranteed even more money but as ever in the fickle world of Hollywood they're now living in, if it doesn't resonate with the audience then they can expect a sharp decline in those mega offers and mega deals,” Sean added.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Continue To Work With Spotify
Prince Harry was also criticized for airing his sentiments against Spotify but still opting to work with the music platform.
While speaking with Sky News Australia, Douglas Murray claimed that Prince Harry’s comments were uncalled for.
“As for the most representative on the pulse of the world couple, I'm thinking of the Sussexes. We do need to hear from them, don't we? Because whenever there are issues to do with not just politics but the significance of truth and anything to do with the public mood. We do need to hear from them, don't we? A spokesperson for Prince Harry and Markle confirmed that the couple would continue to work with Spotify.
“Hundreds of millions of people are affected by the serious harms of rampant misinformation and disinformation every day,” the spokesperson said in response to all the fake news surrounding the Sussexes.
