Meghan Markle won her privacy case against a U.K. tabloid. However, her estranged half-sister, Samantha Markle, sued her for defamation for allegedly lying about their family in her interview with Oprah Winfrey. An astrologer weighed in on the sisters' legal battle and said that based on their cards, the favor is in Samantha, so Markle could lose the case.

Meghan Markle Faces Defamation Lawsuit And Could Probably Lose It

Meghan Markle spoke about her family during her and Prince Harry's interview with Oprah Winfrey last year. However, her half-sister, Samantha Markle, didn't like what she said about their family. She filed a defamation suit against the Duchess of Sussex.

Celebrity astrologer Emile Adame weighed on the Markle sisters' legal battle based on their zodiac signs and cards. According to her, Samantha could win against her royal sister because "the cards are really in her favor."

"So... the energy I see her in this year... the cards are really in her favor... I feel... being able to speak her truth. But there's also a lot of fear there. I have to be totally honest here, I feel that both women were dishonest in their own way," Adame said on the To Di For Daily podcast.

"So this is, you know, this is a he-said-she-said type of situation, whereas... it's got a greater effect on Samantha than it does on Meghan, I feel... because it's affecting her day-to-day life. She is clearly not a famous person with the means that her sister has. But I do feel that she will be successful."

Adame added that she is also seeing Samantha winning a sum of money, which could be probably from her legal victory.

Adame said that regardless of the outcome, it won't improve Samantha and Markle's relationship as both would "still feel very betrayed" in the end. She is also seeing the siblings experiencing loss in their current life, although, on different levels.

"They’re more similar than they think they are," the fortuneteller added.

Why Did Samantha Sue Meghan Markle For Defamation?

Samantha Markle filed a defamation lawsuit against Prince Harry's wife and her sister, Meghan Markle, for allegedly lying about her and their family in her sit-down interview with Winfrey for a CBS special last year. In the court documents obtained by TMZ, Samantha alleged that Markle lied by claiming that she grew up in "virtual poverty."

In the interview, Markle said she had to work to send herself to college. Samantha fired back saying their dad paid for Markle's education and sent her to "elite and expensive private schools."

Samantha also alleged that Markle negatively talked about her autobiography and prevented her from getting jobs causing her emotional and mental distress.

"I grew up as an only child," Markle said even wishing she had siblings and said she would have loved it. Markle also addressed Samantha's book, saying that it "would be very hard to 'tell all' when you don't know me."

"I don't know how she can say, 'I don't know her,' and she was an only child," she told Inside Edition questioning her own sister's statement. "We've got photographs over a lifespan of us together. So how can she not know me?"

The Duchess of Sussex also told Winfrey that she hasn't seen Samantha for at least "18, 19 years" and accused Samantha of changing her last name back to Markle in her early 50s "when I started dating Harry," before adding, "So, I think that says enough."
