Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's popularity in the U.K. has significantly dropped after they stepped down from their royal duties. However, they recently visited the Queen prompting speculations that they might appear on the balcony during Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee celebration.

Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Not Welcome For Queen's Jubilee Platinum Celebration?

Loose Women's panel weighed in on the rumors that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might join the royal family at Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee celebration. According to Christine Lambard they did a poll and the majority wasn't very welcoming of the sight of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the balcony during the event.

"We did ask you at home - we have a Twitter poll, 'would you be happy to see Harry and Meghan back on the balcony during the upcoming celebrations?' 59 percent of you said no," Lambard said, per Express.

Meanwhile, Carol McGiffin was furious at the thought of the Sussexes being present at the event. For her, they should skip it, since they wanted privacy.

"They said they wanted privacy, 'we're going over to America to have our privacy', and then they haven't stopped talking about it since," McGiffin said. "They haven't stopped talking about themselves and the Royal Family."

Lampard noted that the couple is filming a documentary. McGiffin noted that it was exactly her concern, "They've got cameras following them, I mean - give it a rest!"

She added, "I don't mind if they appear on the balcony and I'd have gone, 'aw lovely', but you know at the moment I don't think that. I just think, 'urgh here we go'."

On the other hand, Frankie Bridge said she wanted to see the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at the event. She was particularly excited about Markle's outfit.

"I'm one of those people, I'm like, 'I'm quite happy to see them there,'" Bridge said. "I just want everyone to get on, everyone to have a nice time and I just want to know what Meghan's going to wear, okay? That's all I want to know and I'm done."

Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Could Allegedly Steal Queen Elizabeth's Moment

Following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's visit to the Queen reinforcing their relationship with her, there are rumors that they could join Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee celebration. However, there are concerns that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might steal the Queen's thunder during the event.

"Charles wants the Platinum Jubilee to focus only on the Queen," an anonymous source said. "Many are disappointed that Andrew overshadowed Prince Philip's thanksgiving service and don't want the Meghan and Harry circus to hijack the Jubilee."

The tipster added, "This is the Queen’s show and should be about her and her 70 years of service rather than Meghan’s fashion, the kids and Harry. They don’t want it to become the Harry and Meghan show. Charles and all the family are agreed on that."

The Sussexes have not confirmed their attendance at the Queen's four-day celebration yet.
