Queen Elizabeth just reunited with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a secret visit to Queen Elizabeth II. However, not everyone was impressed after learning that they dropped by at Windsor Castle to meet the monarch before heading to the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.

Queen Elizabeth II's Grandson Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Allegedly 'Exploited' Her During Secret Meeting

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who skipped Prince Philip's funeral last month but wished to see the Queen, just reunited with the 95-year-old monarch. Many were surprised with their U.K. visit because they never announced it beforehand and it was the first time Meghan Markle joined her husband in his home country after over two years since they stepped back from their royal duties in 2020.

Royal biographer Tom Bower believed that the royal couple's visit to the Queen had something to do with their Netflix documentary.

"I have no doubt it was all done for their Netflix documentary," the author of Rebel Prince told Daily Mail. "The Queen's advisers failed to protect her from being exploited by the Royal Family's worst traducers, while the Sussexes exploited an old, unwell woman to boost their credibility and coffers."

Prior to Bower's comment, royal biographer Angela Levin, author of Harry: A Biography of a Prince, also speculated that only Netflix could bring back the royal couple to the U.K.

"I think they'll come back if we’ll allow them to bring Netflix cameramen, they won't come otherwise," she told The Sun.

She also believed that Markle joined her husband in the Invictus Games because of their Netflix documentary. The duchess has been keeping a low profile in the past months and has made limited public outings.

"The Invictus Games don't belong to her, she likes taking over things that she thinks will be productive for her. She's not necessary there," Levin added.

What Happened During Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's Visit To The UK To Meet Queen Elizabeth

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's rep confirmed earlier this week that they were heading to the Invictus Games in the Netherlands. It will be their first visit to Europe together after they step back from their royal duties in 2020.

However, there was no announcement that they would drop a visit to his grandmother, but the couple did after they skipped Prince Philip's funeral last month. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's spokesperson confirmed their visit to Queen Elizabeth.

"We can confirm that they visited the duke’s grandmother, as we previously said he hoped to do," a spokesperson for the duke and duchess said in a statement to Page Six. "They stopped by the U.K. on their way to the Hague to attend the Invictus Games."

According to reports, the royal couple also met Prince Charles when they visited the Queen at Windsor Castle just days before the Queen's 96th birthday. It was believed that they spent a night in their official London residence, Frogmore Cottage, where his cousin Princess Eugenie and her family, husband Jack Brooksbank and son August, live.

However, the Sussexes reportedly didn't meet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Prince William and Kate Middleton live in Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace in London, almost an hour-drive from Windsor Castle.

"One person he didn't see while he was in the UK was his brother William," ITV's royal editor Chris Ship said, per Express.

Prince Harry and Markle were also spotted by a bus-load of well-wishers for the traditional Maundy Thursday ceremony. One onlooker said they waved at the Sussex couple and they waved back.

"They looked happy and relaxed and waved to everyone on the bus. Charles and the Queen were at Windsor Castle at the same time so they must have met them both," an unnamed source told The Sun. "It was quite the sight. We knew we might see Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall at the ceremony but never believed we would bump into Harry and Meghan."
