Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were able to introduce their daughter Lilibet to Queen Elizabeth when they traveled to the United Kingdom. However, something reportedly bothered the royal couple after Her Majesty declined their request.

Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Feared Lilibet's Future In The Royal History?

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex traveled to his home country last month to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's 70 years on the throne. During their visit, they brought along their children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, so they could meet the British monarch, their grandfather Prince Charles and more.

However, royal commentator and journalist Neil Sean claimed the Sussexes were worried that their royal links are eroding, Daily Star reported.

"This all centres upon that alleged meeting between Her Majesty the Queen and Harry and Meghan out at Frogmore Cottage, and the elusive picture that nobody has ever seen, that was allegedly taken of Her Majesty with her namesake Lilibet," Sean said in a recent YouTube video.

"According to a good source in the US, they feel that they’ve been re-written out of royal history," he continued. "The fact that they decided to release that picture of their daughter to the world was simply a kickback to say, ‘here she is, this is what you’re missing out on.’"

The palace did not confirm whether the meeting took place. However, Sean suggested that the lack of official photos during Queen Elizabeth and Lilibet's first meeting may have left the royal couple frustrated.

"By not having a picture with Her Majesty the Queen, according to that good source, it appears that both Harry and Meghan feel that their daughter is going to be re-written out of history," Sean said. "This is because if you think about it logically, when are they next going to return? When will the opportunity be there to have a formal portrait with our gracious monarch, and at 96 years old they have to look logically at that."

Did Queen Elizabeth Ban Prince Harry, Meghan Markle From Photographing Her, Lilibet's First Meeting?

There were different claims about the Queen and Lilibet's first meeting. Some outlets alleged that the Sussexes wanted a photo, but the 96-year-old monarch declined because it was a private moment.

"Harry and Meghan wanted their photographer to capture the moment Lilibet met the Queen," an unnamed source told The Sun. "But they were told no chance. It was a private family meeting."

However, a report from NY Post claimed that the royal couple didn't ask for a photo. An anonymous source with knowledge of the situation said the Sussexes just enjoyed a private and intimate moment with Queen Elizabeth. They reportedly didn't bother asking for photos because the "Queen wasn't feeling well."
