Omid Scobie Announced Meghan Markle And Prince Harry’s Second Finding Freedom Book

Royal author Omid Scobie recently announced, as per Mirror, that there would be another Finding Freedom book hitting the shelves soon. He shared that it would be another Meghan Markle and Prince Harry-focused book with more “exclusive disclosure” in a “new chapter of royal life.”

While nothing is set in stone as of this writing, rumors claimed that the second Finding Freedom book is likely to be released in 2023. Speculations are rife that the sequel of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s book would contradict charges Tom Bower made in his recently published biography titled Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors.

Thomas Markle, the father of Meghan Markle, helped in completing Tom Bower’s book, which repeated a slew of mostly previously reported allegations that include Prince Harry’s wife made Kate Middleton cry during a gown fitting prior to the Sussex wedding in 2018.

Omid Scobie reportedly talked to friends of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry with the duchess’ blessing for Finding Freedom, which also carried details of luxury holidays and the former Suit actress’ fondness for sweets. However, it remains unclear if the royal author would be given the same access to his second book.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were last sighted in the U.K. during Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have settled In the U.S. after stepping down from royal duties in January 2020.

Tom Bower, in his book, claimed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry wanted more prominent seats at the Platinum Jubilee celebrations but were forced to back down on Queen Elizabeth’s orders. The royal author added the parents of Archie and Lilibet were unhappy about their allocated seats in St. Paul’s and tried to sit close to the senior members of the royal family.

During an appearance on “Pod Save the Queen” podcast, Tom Bower said:

"I was told, unfortunately too late for the book, they were meant to turn up at Wellington Barracks to get on the coach which was set up for the minor royals to go to St Paul's for the Jubilee service. They arrived deliberately late so the bus had gone and they could make a grand entrance from a car so they could be seen on the steps, which Netflix obviously needed."

Of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, he added:

"And then as they walked down the aisle, they get to the seats in the row they are assigned and I'm told they then asked six other people sitting this side of the aisle could they move down so they could sit on the aisle itself. And the usher apparently said to them 'you can't, you're sitting in seats eight or nine' or whatever it was and Harry said 'why?' And the usher said 'that's what your grandmother ordered'. I'm told that from a military man."

Meghan Markle Left Struggling In Wedding Dress ‘After Being Rude’ To Aide

Meanwhile, Tom Bower also claimed in his book that Meghan Markle was struggling with her dress on her wedding day as a military escort she had allegedly been rude to refuse to help her. The wife of Prince Harry famously arrived at St George’s Chapel in Windsor to marry Prince Harry with just two of her page boys after her father pulled out of attending the ceremony.

As she exited the vehicle, a video from the wedding day showed Meghan Markle’s veil had become twisted in the car, and another aide, along with dress designer Clare Waight Keller rushed to assist the bride. However, a military man who was tasked with opening the car door for the duchess did not offer his help.

In an upcoming episode of “Pod Save the Queen” podcast, Tom Bower claimed:

"A military man told me an extraordinary story about Meghan when she arrived at the wedding at Windsor Castle on that glorious day in 2018. You see her get out of the car unaccompanied and she has problems with the train of her dress and the army officer doesn't step forward to help her. And the reason is, is the day before in the rehearsal, she had been very rude to him so he thought 'well I'm not going to help you today'. I didn't get the story from him but a fellow officer of his, who explained what had happened."

Both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have yet to comment on Omid Scobie’s announcement that he is publishing another Finding Freedom book next year.
