Meghan Markle and Prince Harry – like Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck -- are ready to say “I do” all over again, but this time, it is going to be on U.S. soil, a new report suggested.
Meghan Markle And Prince Harry To Tie The Knot Again?
Heat Magazine, in its latest edition, reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are planning to have their second wedding in America. Insiders told the entertainment news outlet that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are renewing their vows in a “woke ceremony in America” and want every aspect of it to be different from their royal wedding at Windsor Castle.
It was claimed that having a second wedding is something that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been hoping to do ever since starting a new life in the U.S. However, they found their original plans scuppered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Not Inviting The Royal Family?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly also keen to get Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee out of the way. But, with nothing holding them back, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly keen to renew their vows before the summer ends.
An unnamed source claimed:
“They’re looking at various venues and figuring out the type of ceremony they want, as well as how many guests to invite. Meghan’s mum Doria [Ragland] will be on the list, but she’ll be the only family member. Then, there will be a handful of close US friends – like Katherine and David [Foster], Janina [Gavankar], possibly Priyanka [Chopra] and Nick Jonas – but obviously, it’ll all depend on their schedules. There’ll be roles for the kids, and they’ll write their own vows. The grand plan is to turn it into a big family vacation that will also serve as a second honeymoon.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly busy at the moment, with the duke’s imminent memoir release and those pesky Spotify and Netflix deals to fulfil. So, the Sussex pair is said to plan to make the wedding happen sooner rather than later.
A spy claimed:
“Things are going to be beyond hectic with the docuseries and other priorities. They’ll make the time, though, and they’re both super-excited to do this. They’re more in love now than ever, and proud of everything they’ve got through together these past four years. Saying their vows again is a beautiful way to underline that.”
Prince Harry Loves Exploring America, But Still Misses The U.K.?
Heat Magazine was also told that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are shunning their Montecito mansion as the wedding venue and instead opting for somewhere more rural, though equally glamorous. It added:
“The more Harry sees of the beautiful corners of the States, such as Jackson Hole in Idaho and the islands off the coast of Florida and Maine, the more his mind’s blown by what a beautiful country it is and how he’s hit the jackpot by landing an American for his soulmate.”
While Prince Harry reportedly enjoys exploring American islands, the insider claimed Blightly’s shores are still lingering in his mind. It shared:
“Harry will always respect and have a special affinity towards the country of his birth, and both he and Meghan treasure the memory of their UK wedding, despite the dramas that ended up and where their children will be raised is something that’s important to both of them.”
The husband of Meghan Markle is allegedly keen to extend his U.S. roots at their Montecito mansion. A tipster told Heat Magazine:
“The Sussexes are more committed to their long-term future in America than ever. Even if Harry does get homesick from time to time, there’s no way he’d give up this fabulous new life anytime soon. He’s got the family he always dreamed of, a job that gives him financial security, as well as the opportunity to ‘serve’ in a manner he sees fit, plus he has this incredible chance to broaden his horizons with his soulmate.”
The news outlet added that nothing would hold Meghan Markle and Prince Harry back, especially those with unwanted opinions, adding:
“The vow renewal is going to happen – and if that bothers anyone in the UK, then to hell with them.”
Both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have yet to comment on the reports saying that they are planning to have a second wedding in the U.S. So, devoted supporters of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex should take all these unverified claims with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
