Meghan Markle Says She Would've Told Her, Prince Harry's Story Differently On Netflix Docuseries

However, Meghan Markle also told Variety that while she trusts and respects Garbus' take on the docuseries, she wouldn't have told her and Prince Harry's story the way that the director is doing it.

According to Page Six, the Duchess of Sussex's recent statement suggests that she may not be pleased with the direction of her and Prince Harry's project for the streaming platform.

"It's nice to be able to trust someone with our story — a seasoned director whose work I've long admired — even if it means it may not be the way we would have told it. But that's not why we're telling it. We're trusting our story to someone else, and that means it will go through their lens," she said.
