Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle reunited to mourn the shocking demise of Queen Elizabeth II in September. The wives of Prince William and Prince Harry remained civil as the world grieved for the passing of one of the world’s most powerful and influential women, which prompted royal fans to think that they had finally put their long-standing feud to bed.
Kate Middleton, Prince William, Meghan Markle And Prince Harry To Be Reunited Again?
Heat UK, in its latest edition, however, reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s behavior might cause any peace talks to be pushed aside now that Kate Middleton and Prince William are gearing up for their imminent royal tour in the U.S. The Prince and Princess of Wales are due to jet off to Boston for the awards ceremony of Prince William’s environmental project called the Earthshot Prize, which is set to take place on December 2.
This means that Kate Middleton, Prince William, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be reunited again, at least geographically. However, the outlet suggested that the Wales couple’s trip could be what crushed the peace talks for good.
An unnamed insider told Heat UK that Kate Middleton does not have plans to talk quietly while Meghan Markle shows off her new award. It stated:
“Kate is open to some type of meeting – schedule permitting, of course – but not if she’s got to sit there listening to Meghan gush over this award and see her strutting around like some kind of peacock, which seems almost certain given the vibes they’ve been getting.”
For starters, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set to be honored on December 6 as 2022 Ripple of Hope laureates, with the prestigious event recognizing them “for their work on racial justice, mental health, [and]] their Archewell Foundation.” The Sussex pair would be publicly acknowledged alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The same tipster suggested:
“Of course, the timing is purely coincidental, but privately, the couple is very happy about this award, especially as it comes at a time when they’re feeling the pressure. This is a huge coup for Meghan and Harry, as they’re on the same bill as some extremely distinguished guests and fellow honorees. To them, it’s validation that they are recognized and taken seriously at the highest level.”
The informant furthered that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry hope the award would “open the door again for them to break bread with the Obamas and other influential power players and decision-makers.” To recall, the parents of Archie and Lilibet have been embroiled in a bitter fallout ever since they stepped down from their roles as senior working royals and left Britain for a showbiz life in the U.S.
The alleged rift between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry with Kate Middleton and Prince William when they dropped their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, in which the Duke of Sussex claimed his brother was “trapped” within the royal family. Also, Meghan insisted, at the time, that Kate made her cry at a bridesmaid’s dress fitting before her wedding day in 2018.
Meghan Markle Feeling Pressured About Kate Middleton’s Upcoming Travel To America?
Meghan Markle had allegedly been feeling some pressure at the thought that Kate Middleton is on her turf. For the Prince and Princess of Wales, their upcoming trip to the U.S. would be the first time they have set foot in America in over eight years. So, it’s no wonder, as per the magazine, Meghan is delighted that her award could sabotage their plans.
A mole told Heat UK:
“It’s no secret that Meghan was feeling threatened and intimidated at the prospect of Kate and William invading her and Harry’s territory so she’s pleased to think they’ll still be able to grab their own headlines. What Meghan loves most about this is that they’re really competing with Kate and William on a level footing, not playing second fiddle like they’ve always had to in the U.K. She’s going to strut her stuff, empowered and confident that the American people have taken her and Harry to their hearts. Their view is that the senior royals have projected Kate and William like they’re the ultimate ambassadors and there’s been a lot less fuss made of others – themselves especially.”
However, it seems that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are not about to let Kate Middleton and Prince William take over their spot just yet. An unidentified source said:
“They’re firmly of the opinion that America is their patch and that it’s Meghan’s time to shine in New York – not the other way around. Kate is being very philosophical about it – she won’t rise to any of this bait, but ultimately it doesn’t bode well as far as the Fab Four peace prospects are concerned.”
Even though Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would play nice, Kate Middleton and Prince William, as per Heat UK, might not find themselves on top of the list for a quick visit. The same insider added:
“Whenever Harry and Meghan go to the East Coast, they tend to do a lot of schmoozing, so they’re in the process of lining up a ton of meetings now that there's a valid reason to head out there again. It may or may not mean they’ll have to shelve a meeting with Kate and William – that’s something they’re chewing over right now.”
Both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have yet to comment on the claims that their peace talks are off as they allegedly battle for the limelight once again. So, devoted supporters of Prince William and Prince Harry’s wives should take all these unverified reports with a pinch of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
