Megan Thee Stallion Confirmed to Appear in She-Hulk

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is expected to feature a lot of cameo appearances from several MCU and Marvel Comics characters due to the legal procedural nature of the series. However, it looks like the easter eggs will go beyond the Marvel realm as a Grammy-winning rapper is now officially joining the MCU through the series.

The Cut has confirmed that Megan Thee Stallion has been cast to appear in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law although no details have been given regarding the role that she will be playing. Her role in the series has been rumored for months prior to this confirmation and it's been speculated that she will be playing a fictionalized version of herself.

While the rapper didn't discuss the details surrounding her MCU role in the series, she did discuss her plan to venture into acting just like other rappers who also became actors such as Queen Latifah and Ice Cube.

"When I look at them, it inspires me to take it further than just music," the Grammy winner said. "I don’t feel like I’m only going to be an actress — I feel like I’m also going to be a director and I’m also going to be a producer."

This wouldn't be the first time that Marvel Studios has cast a popular musician to be part of the MCU. Last year, they introduced Harry Styles as Eros/Starfox during the first post-credits scene of Eternals. However, if Megan Thee Stallion will play a fictionalized version of herself, it will be the first time that a musician does especially if it'll be in a more significant role.

It is interesting to hear that the Grammy winner is going to be part of the series and it does pose a question on how she'll play into the story of the series whether she will be Jennifer Walters' client, show up in a party scene to perform her song, or reveal that Jennifer is a fan of her. Either way, it is exciting to see her pop up later on in the series.
