Meet the VFD in New Clip from Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events

Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events has given us teasers about the VFD, the secret organization that the Baudelaires' parents are a part of. We'll be meeting more of the group in Season Two, and Netflix has released a short clip of the VFD which includes many familiar faces.

Visit the VFD headquarters and party with the Volunteers: Jacques and Lemony Snicket (Nathan Fillion & Patrick Warburton), Uncle Monty (Aasif Mandvi), Aunt Josephine (Alfre Woodard), Jacquelyn (Sara Canning), Dr Orwell (Catherine O' Hara)… and a Villainous, Frightening and Disagreeable guest, a word which here means Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris).

For people who haven't read the books, it looks like we'll be able to find out more about the Beatrice that Lemony Snicket frequently mentions in the series. If I were to make any guesses, I would think that she would be killed by Count Olaf in the flashback.

Honestly, the only exposure I've had to the Unfortunate Events material is the 2004 movie, but unlike that film, the series makes the presence of the VFD known from the very first episode. I'm interested to see what more the series shows that weren't in the books.

A Series of Unfortunate Events returns to Netflix on March 30.
