MCU Star Dave Bautista Takes Another Jab at John Cena and The Rock's Acting Careers

Most wrestlers begin and end their professional careers inside the squared circle but it's quite evident that fate had other plans for guys like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, John Cena, and Dave Bautista who not only were successful names in the world of wrestling but also penetrated mainstream media. Considering all three men share quite the history together, it no longer comes as a surprise how fans want to see them headline a feature film.

Cena and Johnson's movie team-up looks more promising than ever given the fact that they're both in the Fast & Furious franchise and the DC Extended Universe. But if Bautista had things his way, he'd rather not share the spotlight with his former WWE colleagues. "The Animal" recently expressed his disinterest in doing a project with Rock and Cena, much to the astonishment of fans.

A couple of days following his controversial statement, the Guardians of the Galaxy actor is once again taking to Twitter to reiterate that he doesn't want to be involved in a potential big-screen collaboration involving the two. Bautista says that while he doesn't have anything against Rock and Cena, he simply just doesn't want to be "lumped in".

Reading between the lines, Dave seems to imply that although they're all part of Hollywood now, he operates on a certain level as an "actor" unlike John and Dwayne who have always been seen as "movie stars". Obviously, there's a fine line between the two titles and Bautista clearly doesn't want to be remembered as some guy who only made big-budgeted films and honestly, there's no shame in admitting that.

Meanwhile, Dave Bautista is slated to appear in Thor: Love and Thunder.
