Keanu Reeves has long been on the fans' radar in terms of Marvel castings so it was only natural that a lot of folks were excited when he revealed last year that he's been in talks with Marvel Studios over a potential role in the billion-dollar franchise. Unfortunately, their initial negotiations went nowhere but Keanu has constantly stated in various interviews that there's one character he'd like to play and that is none other than Ghost Rider.

Of course, Reeves fits the Johnny Blaze role to a tee, and given how fans are also on board with the idea of him playing the hell-blazing hero in Earth-616, it's quite baffling how Kevin Feige has yet to pull the trigger, even if it's just for a cameo appearance.

Well, it turns out that the MCU fandom hasn't stopped pushing for Keanu to become part of the MCU and a wicked artwork from digital artist @rahalarts on Instagram pretty much proves that people still want to see him as Ghost Rider. What do you think? Check out the jaw-dropping image here:

As it stands, Keanu's MCU status remains unclear but we'd like to think that both parties are keeping their lines open. I gotta say though, Marvel needs to act quickly and get his services before it's too late because let's be honest, Reeves is already approaching his 60s and isn't getting any younger. I wouldn't want to see his potential MCU involvement be reduced to a "what if" kind of deal so I'm hoping it happens soon.

Meanwhile, Marvel Studios' Phase Five opener, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania hits cinemas on February 17, 2023.
