I think we can all agree that Henry Cavill is the most wasted actor in comic book film history. Despite playing a captivating version of Superman on the big screen, it's evident from the get-go that Warner Bros. and DC Films have no plans of making him a priority which is quite baffling because it's the Man of Steel we're talking about.
Not counting his involvement in Zack Snyder's Justice League, Cavill last appeared in the DCEU in 2017 — an absolute crime considering Superman should always be at the forefront along with Batman and Wonder Woman.
The lack of creative plans for the British actor has led many fans to boycott the DCEU. It also sparked a movement in the fandom persuading the star of Netflix's The Witcher to make the jump to the Marvel Cinematic Universe where he'd be treated "better".
Many fans believe that Cavill would be the perfect fit to play Captain Britain in the MCU and while that role seems like a no-brainer, other fans think he should play a different character. On Reddit, MCU fanatics weigh in on the actor's possible casting with iconic Marvel characters such as Hercules, Hyperion, and Sentry entering the discussion.

In my opinion, nothing will ever be bigger than playing the Man of Steel on the big screen. The only thing that could probably match it is if Marvel actually cast Cavill as Wolverine. Obviously, the chances of that happening is quite slim, and should he join the MCU, he'll have no choice but to settle for a B-list Marvel character.
Meanwhile, The Witcher Season 3 is reportedly currently in production.
