Matthew "Matt" Duliba is a contestant on Love Is Blind season 6 who left the show early.

When he first entered the pods, he appeared aloof with his dates and provided them with a set of questions. After answering, the woman would throw a question at him, which he refused to answer.

On one of his dates, Matt appeared to have walked out of the pod while his date was still talking.

It also didn't help that he was branded a player when he matched with two women (Amber Grant and Amber Desiree "AD" Smith) and told them the same things.

Once AD confronted him about this, he decided to leave the show and that he would "go get Amber."

Although the public only saw Matt in a few episodes, they quickly jumped to conclusions based on what was shown in the series. On social media, people called Matt the unofficial villain of Love Is Blind season 6.

A couple of days after Netflix aired the Love Is Blind episodes with Matt, they shared a clip on social media highlighting his failed dates.

The streaming giant also wrote the caption: "oh no..that’s not..that’s not how conversation works!!"

Again, this led viewers to comment on the post and disapprove of Matt's actions.

Deciding to defend himself, Matt turned to writing a comment from his official Instagram account.

"Key element of my story that was never disclosed is that I live an alcohol free lifestyle and did the experiment sober.
It was a key factor in why I had so much difficulty connecting with women in the beginning. There was also many misrepresentations and falsehoods created in my opinion to smear my character. I look forward to telling my side of the story with the full truth at the appropriate time."

In another comment, he wrote:

"Misrepresentation of the truth, never walked out when a women was talking."

This was referring to his date with Sarah Ann, who jumped on her Instagram account to respond to questions about Matt walking out on her during their date.

In a now-deleted Instagram Story, Sarah Ann was asked "Did Matt actually walk out on you when you were mid-convo?!"

She answered:

"Nope, he did not. I'll let Matt speak on that but we are good."

While Matt says his interactions on Love Is Blind were done while he was sober, it's important to note that reality TV shows often edit footage for certain reasons.

Sometimes, they edit the footage because it is too long. In other cases, they do this to create some sort of drama.

Some cast members, however, have stated that Matthew was "100 percent" how he appears on the show.

As of writing, Netflix has not yet responded to Matt's comments on their Instagram post. We'll have to wait for Matt's official statement.
