Mattel Reveals Online-Exclusive Comic-Con@Home Toys for Marvel, Halo, and Star Wars


Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm might not be holding any sort of panel at Comic-Con@Home, the virtual iteration of the yearly San Diego Comic-Con International, but that doesn't mean that fans can't get their fair share of exclusive merch.

Sure, SDCC might have gone digital, however, a number of toy companies continue to offer exclusive collectibles tied to Comic-Con@Home, and that includes Mattel.

According to a report by IGN, Mattel is planning to reveal a number of Comic-Con@Home collectibles for Marvel, Halo, and Star Wars in the next few days. These exclusives include quite a number of Hot Wheels sets for the three franchises. One recreates an important scene in Avengers: Endgame, another features a set of Halo Construx figurines with light-up packaging.

So far, Mattel has revealed the x-wing fighter that Luke Skywalker crashed into Dagobah in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the critically-acclaimed movie. There's also a collectible figurine of Barbasol Dennis in his nerdy outfit from the original Jurassic Park. You can check out pictures of the figures here:

Of course, these aren't the only toys that Mattel's preparing for Comic-Con@Home. The company is planning to reveal exclusive toys all throughout the week. Star Wars, Marvel, Halo, and other pop culture fans can find these toys being sold on the official Mattel Creations Instagram page. The merchandise will all go on sale on Thursday, July 23, at 9 am.

While collectors won't have problems with long lines, they'd better keep an eye out on the toys they want because companies might run out if they dillydally.

Comic-Con@Home is going to be held from July 22, Wednesday to July 26, Sunday.
