Matt Reeves Teases Robert Pattinson's Batman Casting

Robert Pattinson's casting for The Batman has had people going crazy ever since it was reported. Some fans can't get over the fact that he ever acted in Twilight, even though he's proven himself in other roles since then. It's also worth noting that Academy Award-winner Rami Malek was in one of the Twilight movies and no one seems to bat an eye at him doing new things, like Mr. Robot.

Well, Matt Reeves, who is directing The Batman, has decided to add some fuel to the fire by sharing a GIF of Pattinson from one of his post-Twilight movies, possibly Good Time. This has made fans wonder if the news is official-official, though most have assumed that it is since the original story was broken by Deadline, which is a pretty legitimate website.

Fans are curious to see Pattinson, who everyone is calling Battinson for fun, in the Batman costume. Hell, most of us are curious about how he is going to look like as Bruce Wayne, whether it's him in a suit or all roughed up, though we'll probably see both soon.

Currently, The Batman is scheduled for a June 2021 release date, though no official news regarding the movie has been officially shared by DC and Warner Bros. Expect that news to change in the near future.
