While it wasn’t revealed as part of Crunchyroll’s dub lineup, Mashle: Magic and Muscles is officially getting an English dub soon, as the voice actor for the main character, Mash, has been confirmed.

It might take a while longer for the rest of the cast to be announced, but this reveal should be good news for fans who are hoping to get an English dub for the anime.

Given its funny story and the familiar setting, Mashle is almost tailor-fit to be a dubbed anime, and the voice actor of its main character is a promising sign.

Crunchyroll recently announced that popular voice actor Aleks Le will be the voice of Mash Burnedead in the upcoming Mashle English dub release.

The announcement also confirms that the dub will be streamed on Crunchyroll, though fans may have to wait until the anime’s first season ends before they get to watch it.

Aleks Le should be a familiar name for anime fans, especially as he is known for voicing the fan-favorite Zenitsu in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

While Zenitsu is no doubt Le’s most well-known character, he has voiced numerous anime characters over the years.

For instance, Le is also the English dub voice actor of Thorfinn in Vinland Saga, as well as Takafumi in Uncle from Another World.

Other popular characters voiced by Le include Mikey in Tokyo Revengers, Junta in Romantic Killer, Kazuya in Rent-A-Girlfriend, and Shinei in 86.

As you can see, Le typically plays the protagonist in many shows, so it’s no surprise that he will voice Mash.

While Le should be a promising casting decision, fans will need to wait a bit longer before the rest of the cast will be announced. Though it’s likely that more info will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Crunchyroll had simuldub releases before for shows like Tomo-chan Is a Girl!, while other dub versions are released with a delay of a few weeks.

But for Mashle, given that only the main VA has been announced, it’s likely that the dub hasn’t begun recording yet.

This should mean the Mashle English dub will air when the Spring 2023 season ends.

For fans who can’t wait, new episodes of Mashle: Magic and Muscles are streamed every week on Crunchyroll.

Meanwhile, the manga that it’s based on also gets new chapters every week on Manga Plus.
