There is little doubt that people are already looking forward to Kit Harington's next big role after the conclusion of Game of Thrones. Nevertheless, the new star of Marvel's The Eternals still couldn't help but compare his new character Black Knight to Jon Snow.

Harington was recently in attendance at the Nutanix's Next Conference where he was asked about his next big role in the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe flick (via Twitter). The former Game of Thrones star pointed out that although he is trying to avoid choosing characters that are similar to the King in the North, there's still something about Dane Whitman that is fairly similar to Jon.

"Now I'm going with a Marvel movie. I'm going on to play a superhero, which is cool. I don't know what I can say about it, I'm scared to sort of even mention it," Harington said. "I'm trying to choose things as far away from Jon Snow as possible, but I'm playing a superhero and he's got a sword."

It's hard not to compare Black Knight to Jon Snow. After all, both characters are great warriors who wield important swords. Interestingly, fans were expecting Jon to eventually wield Lightbringer in the final season of Game of Thrones. Although that didn't happen, we can still expect Harington to do the exact same thing in The Eternals.

The Eternals also stars Harington's former Game of Thrones co-star Richard Madden, who has been cast as Ikaris. This will be the first time that the two will be working together again since their characters parted ways in the first season of the HBO series.

The Eternals is scheduled for release on November 6, 2020.
