Marvel's The Eternals: First Look At Richard Madden As Ikaris

Things are getting more exciting on the set of Marvel's The Eternals now that Richard Madden has started filming his scenes as Ikaris. But why is the Eternal all decked out in denim?

The first photos of Madden on the set of The Eternals finds the Game of Thrones star in the same location when Angelina Jolie was spotted throwing ashes into a lake beside a funeral pyre. You can see the pictures here.

It looks like Ikaris is doing a fairly decent job in blending in with the humans. However, the denim jacket and jeans also suggest that the scene Madden is shooting could be a flashback to the 1980s.

So far, only a few of the cast have been seen at work. It was previously reported that Jolie and Gemma Chan were already filming their scenes. However, we have yet to see Madden's former Game of Thrones co-star Kit Harington in action. Hopefully, we'll get more updates in the near future and we'll finally get to see what Dane Whitman will look like in the movie.

The upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe flick is directed by Chloe Zhao and will also star Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee, and Barry Keoghan. Interestingly, there have been speculations that Legion actor Dan Stevens will be joining the cast after he was spotted with Nanjiani and Henry. However, the casting has not yet been confirmed so it would be best to take this with a grain of salt.

The Eternals is scheduled for release on November 6, 2020.
