Marvel's Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition Officially Announced and is Available Now

After an Amazon listing was spotted, Sony and Insomniac Games have decided to unveil that Marvel's Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition and it isn't just official; it's available now. Yup, if you haven't played this excellent game yet, now is your chance and you get all of the DLC to boot. This is a very good package so if you haven't picked this game up yet, rectify that now.

Shame that they didn't fix the terrible box art, which is one of the few bad things about the game. Seriously, I would have bought the game all over again if it had better box art but no.

Box art complaints aside, this is an immaculate package and one you should buy if you own a PlayStation 4. The main campaign is a meaty 20+ hours, with a ton of collectibles and side quests to enjoy. It also has one of the best Spider-Man stories ever written, featuring some stellar voice acting and some emotional moments.

The DLC is also nothing to scoff at, actually feeling like a substantial bit of extra content rather than something tacked on for extra money. It also has some solid writing, plenty of side quests, and awesome costumes to unlock, which can then be used on the main story.

As someone who has platinumed this game twice (and is tempted to do it thrice), you should get this package. Seriously, it's that good.
