Marvel’s New Disney+ Series Expected to Take the MCU to 'Even Bigger and Better Heights'

Marvel fans can expect a whole lot from what Marvel Studios has prepared for everyone on Disney+.

Speaking with fans at a presentation at the 2019 Comic-Con Experience (CCXP) in Brazil this weekend (via ComicBook.com), Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige decided to discuss the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe now that Avengers: Endgame is over and Phase 4 is right outside the door for everyone.

Not only does Marvel have new movies lined up for the franchise, but it also has a slew of new series over at Disney's newly launched streaming site, Disney. These shows include The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, Hawkeye, What If....?, She-Hulk, Moon Knight, and Ms. Marvel.

The projects are expected to help Marvel tell "even deeper" stories about characters that haven't had that much exposure on the big screen like Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie).

During his presentation at the CCXP, Feige talked about the decision to include the small screen in the future of the franchise.

"I've been [at Marvel] for almost 20 years. And being able to build the MCU, and build a 23-movie Infinity Saga was great," Feige told the crowd at the convention. "What can we do next?"

According to the Marvel Studios producer, Disney's recently-launched streaming service helps "gives us this opportunity to tell even deeper stories on characters that you already know and love, like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, like WandaVision, like Loki, in a new type of cinematic way that we haven't done before."

It certainly does, and we can't wait to see the shows that Marvel has prepared for everyone. All of the series being produced for Disney+ will be part of the bigger narrative of the MCU, so fans will have to follow all of the shows to keep up with the franchise.

Phase 4 of the MCU begins when Black Widow premieres on May 1, 2020.
