Marvel's Namor Disses DC's Aquaman In Hilarious Jimmy Kimmel Skit

Arthur Curry has been dominating the world box office with the release of the new Aquaman movie. However, it looks like a different Atlantean isn't happy that Arthur got his own standalone film first.

A recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! celebrated the premiere of the DC Extended Universe flick Aquaman but the host was interrupted by an upset audience member. Kimmel initially identifies the man in the "shiny little Speedos" as "Prince Nemo" but was corrected. The name is Prince Namor the Sub-Mariner.

Namor was clearly unhappy with Marvel Studios because his own film has not yet been produced. The Sub-Mariner even tried to prove that he is worthy of a Marvel film because he wields the Horn of Proteus and even called in his friend Gavin.

It's a hilarious skit involving Billy Eichner as the Sub-Mariner and it certainly puts the focus on Namor, who definitely deserves his own movie sometime in the future. For now, we will have to focus on Jason Momoa's steamy take as a half-Atlantean hero in Aquaman.

There have been talks about a Namor film for several years. However, the rights to the movie is certainly a complicated one. Although Namor officially belongs to Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige had previously stated that there are several contracts that need to be sorted out to get the movie done. Unfortunately, it may take some time before the Sub-Mariner film will actually be produced. Nevertheless, it would be hilarious to see Eichner play Namor again soon.

Aquaman is currently screening in theaters worldwide.
