Marvel's Midnight Suns Announcement Trailer Unites Comic Book Badasses

It looks like Doctor Strange will be working with more comic book badasses next year. The new video game focusing on Marvel's Midnight Suns just got an awesome announcement trailer.

There have been speculations that the Midnight Sons will get their own game and at one point, it was even believed that the superhero team will get a Marvel Cinematic Universe film. The show has not yet been confirmed but the game is officially in the works.

The Marvel's Midnight Suns announcement trailer was dropped at Gamescom Opening Night Live and it puts the focus on supernatural superheroes who will be working with, ahem, natural superheroes.

It has been confirmed that Iron Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Blade, Nico Minoru, Magik, Ghost Rider, and Wolverine will all be playable characters in the upcoming role-playing game. Development is ongoing for the Firaxis Games title with Jake Solomon leading the XCOM team.

We don't know much about Marvel's Midnight Suns right now and there is no gameplay trailer just yet. However, the objective of the game is to bring together a team to go up against Lilith, the Mother of Demons. In addition to that, the gameplay trailer could be dropped by September.

The official description for Marvel's Midnight Suns reads as follows:

"When Hell awakens, only they can stop it. Rise up and join a darker order of heroes to defeat Lilith before the Darkhold is complete in this tactical RPG set in the darker side of the Marvel Universe."

Marvel's Midnight Suns has not yet been given an official release date. However, the upcoming title will be made available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC (via Steam and the Epic Game Store), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X in March 2022.
