There is little doubt that Marvel Studios has big plans for the future. Interestingly, one of the upcoming projects for the Marvel Cinematic Universe could be a Midnight Sons movie featuring the likes of Blade, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, and so much more.
We're still waiting for updates on the Blade reboot and the Moon Knight series but it looks like Mahershala Ali and Oscar Isaac might already have their next feature being lined up. According to That Hashtag Show, a Midnight Sons movie is currently in early development and it would see Eric Brooks and Marc Spector teaming up with Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, Hannibal King, Hellstrom, and Scarlet Witch.
In the comics, the Midnight Sons is a team of heroes who specialize in the supernatural. The team actually includes Morbius as well and although Michael Morbius is getting his own movie soon, it is unlikely that Jared Leto will be joining the MCU flick.
The news comes at an interesting time considering that Agents of SHIELD star Gabriel Luna has been teasing at his return as Ghost Rider. In addition to that, Hannibal King and Hellstrom could show up in Ali's Blade reboot. With that in mind, it seems like all the major players are well on their way to team up.
We are loving the idea of a Midnight Sons film. However, it is important to point out that Marvel has not yet made an official announcement about the project. It may take some time before this is confirmed but stay tuned for more updates on this story.
