Marvel's Kevin Feige is 'Waiting on a Phone Call' For the X-Men and Fantastic Four

While this Disney/Fox acquisition is halting to a standstill, every Marvel Studios fan is waiting on the news if the Fantastic Four and X-Men could finally join the MCU. Apparently, Marvel head Kevin Feige is just waiting on a greenlight from whoever's in charge.

As per The Wrap's Umberto Gonzalez:

Feige on potentially getting the X-Men, "I'm just sitting, waiting for a phone call to say yay or nay, but obviously it would be nice to have access to that entire library."

Though a lot of people thought the deal would have been finalized by now, the acquisition is now in serious trouble thanks to a bid from Comcast. Quite honestly, I don't care who owns Fox, but at least let the MCU have all its characters back.

Hopefully Comcast would be nice enough to the fans and sell Marvel back its characters. Who knows that shitstorm that would ensue if they decide to keep the X-characters and Fantastic Four to themselves.

For now, Marvel's slate still seems pretty full. After Avengers 4, we still have Guardians 3 and Spider-Man 2 to look forward to. Not to mention a bunch of other untitled movies. Hopefully the MCU decides to scrap the Inhumans series and just give us a movie like they originally planned.
