Marvel's Eternals is revealed to get an early screening this coming October. It was announced that the imminent film will be the closing movie for the Rome Film Festival.
Eternals has been on the movie time slot for a very long time now. Supposedly, the movie was to be released worldwide back in November 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the production of Marvel's Eternals was delayed for a full year.
Because of that, the official release date for Marvel's Eternals was moved to November 2021. However, this is not the case for some lucky viewers.
Marvel's Eternals Will Be Shown At 2021 Rome Film Festival
According to the reports, Eternals will be the last movie shown at the 2021 Rome Film Festival this coming October 24. The film will be exclusively broadcasted to a handful of moviegoers.
The festival organizers have also revealed that some Eternals cast members would be in attendance. No names are disclosed, but speculations are Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek will most likely grace the early screening.
The reason behind Marvel's move to do an early screening of Eternal's is to get an opinion or an idea of the reception of the film. This is because the characters of Eternals are not a well-known group of ancient heroes.
Despite that, many people believe that the star-studded cast is enough to bring in people. Aside from Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek, other personalities expected to appear in the upcoming movie include Kit Harrington, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan and Kumail Nanjianni among many others.
Marvel's Eternals Gets A Plot Update
Previous reports claimed that Eternals' plot has been updated. According to the new plot details, the film will have two storylines --- one set in the present, another set in the past. This may come as no surprise since Marvel's Eternals has a 156-minute running time and there are a lot of stories to be explored.
