Marvel's Avengers Gameplay Teaser Highlights Hulk and Joe Fixit

From what we've seen in Marvel's Avengers, few moments looked as grand as Hulk smashing everything around him. That scene where Bruce Banner falls off the plane to become his green alter-ego was amazing to witness and his gameplay looked extremely brutal. After highlighting Captain America's character model and gameplay, it's now time for Hulk to get that treatment. He is the "strongest there is" after all.

We get to see some of his character model and, surprisingly enough, his grey form in the Joe Fixit persona. This is something from the Peter David run and a fan-favorite so it's cool to see Crystal Dynamics integrate that costume. Granted, this isn't the first time we've seen it in video game form but we'll take it over no alternate costumes at all.

Hulk just looks like a force of nature in the game, as he should. There's no way that the green goliath should just take damage and dodge attacks like Captain America and it's good to see this indestructible force the way he is. While we're all hoping that we eventually get a Hulk: Ultimate Destruction port/remake in the future, his gameplay sections should be more than enough for some smashing.

Though I'm looking forward to playing as Captain America and Thor more than anyone else, Hulk does look like a really fun character to use. The fact that he is destruction incarnate means we'll probably get a lot of fun set-pieces involving him. Being able to do it in the Joe Fixit suit is the cherry on top.

Marvel's Avengers comes out on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia on May 15, 2020.
