Marvel's Avengers Will Show Off New Content During NYCC

Marvel's Avengers has already impressed fans after initially disappointing them during E3, with a lot of us now wanting to get our hands on the game. The fact that its Arkham-style combat with customizable characters has a lot of us hyped, especially since this is a big-budget Avengers from Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics. While we're still a long way away from the game's release, we are getting some new content soon.

According to a press release, Marvel Games will be showing off Marvel's Avengers during New York Comic-Con (NYCC), along with other titles like Iron Man VR. What kind of content will be shown hasn't been confirmed but most of us are hoping for more gameplay videos, maybe even a peak at some of the new costumes or two.

Hopefully, we get past the A-Day prologue and are shown more of the present day where The Avengers have disbanded. We all know that Captain America isn't actually dead but we'd like to see more of the team's inner turmoil and what brings them back into action. It's doubtful that they'll show the future DLC heroes, though we know that Ant-Man (Hank Pym) will be the first one added.

While I'm perfectly happy with Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, I am more than excited for Marvel's Avengers. This looks like the AAA title the franchise deserves and should succeed if it's half as good as Marvel's Spider-Man.

Marvel's Avengers is coming out on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia on May 15, 2020.
