Nintendo Switch owners, ASSEMBLE! After months of waiting, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order now has an official release date. Meeting the previously announced summer 2019 release, fans of the beat-em-up series with RPG elements will be able to play this game on July 19. Aside from the big announcement, the cover art for this game has also been released and it definitely screams Marvel (and not just MCU, thankfully).

As the game's title states, Marvel's heroes will be teaming up to take on The Black Order and, presumably, Thanos. The Mad Titan has already appeared in trailers, so we can only assume that this game will be about the Infinity Stones. Basically, this could be considered as a video game adaptation of either Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity, or even Infinity War/Endgame.

Joining the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy are characters from X-Men and Inhumans, though no Fantastic Four members have been confirmed (yet). At the least, it's nice to know that Marvel has learned their lesson from Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite and are adding as much fan service as possible. DLC may or may not be a thing but let's hope for some cool characters and extra missions, if ever.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch and is coming out on July 19.
