Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Confirms Two Fan-Favorite Characters Will Be Playable

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is coming out in two months and Nintendo Switch owners are pretty happy about that. Sure, we aren't getting Persona 5 anytime on the system anytime soon, but at least we'll get to beat up baddies with our own customized Marvel team. The game already has a number of characters to get fans excited but Game Informer has just confirmed two more fan-favorites: Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel.

Hawkeye needs no introduction since the archer has made his name in the Avengers films, as well as classic Marvel comics. There's also the acclaimed Hawkeye comic series from Matt Fraction and David Aja that got buzz around the character and is probably why no writer has tried making a new solo title with Clint Barton. Anyway, it's awesome seeing him in the game, even if his costume is an odd mishmash of his Marvel NOW and MCU costumes.

Then there's Ms. Marvel, the company's first prominent Muslim hero and one of the biggest heroes of color in the comic book market. Adored since she debuted in 2011, the character has been involved in a number of memorable storylines and was even an Avenger at one point. She has made Ms. Marvel's name her own, much like Carol Danvers did with the Captain Marvel alias so it's great seeing her here.

We're also getting other fan-favorite heroes like Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Ghost Spider (Spider-Gwen), Deadpool, Venom, Nightcrawler, and so much more. Expect some DLC as well, though that's just speculation and not anything concrete.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is coming out this July on Nintendo Switch.
