After years of clamor from fans, Hollywood legend Harrison Ford is finally part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Unsurprisingly, Marvel Studios wasted no time in giving the Star Wars and Indiana Jones icon a hefty role in the billion-dollar franchise. According to the latest reports, General Ross will have a pivotal role in Phase Five, serving as one of the antagonists in the upcoming fourth Captain America film starring Anthony Mackie. It is also heavily rumored that the longtime MCU villain will finally transform into the Incredible Hulk's crimson counterpart Red Hulk in the aforementioned project.

The extent of Harrison's MCU contract remains under wraps but according to a new scoop from Giant Freakin Robot, the 80-year-old star will have extensive involvement in the billion-dollar franchise. As per the outlet's source, Marvel Studios is also cooking up a standalone series featuring the Red Hulk.

As it stands, nothing has been officially confirmed yet so take this one with a huge grain of salt. However, we'd like to assume that Kevin Feige will be making the most out of Ford's MCU contract so the idea of giving him a solo series isn't out of the question.

Captain America: New World Order is slated to hit theaters on May 3, 2024.
