Marvel Studios Announces D23 Panel With Phase 4 Previews

Marvel brought a whole lot of surprises with it to the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con but it looks like the studio isn't done making announcements yet. Now that Marvel Studios has announced its entire Phase 4 slate for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it looks like the company is headed to Disney's D23 Expo in Anaheim, California with what seems to be the very first teaser videos for its upcoming films like Black Widow, The Eternals, and Shang-Chi.

Riding high on the energy from this year's SDCC, Marvel just recently released a press release (via ComicBook.com) announcing its appearance at D23 this August.

"Today marks one month until D23 Expo 2019. That's right, there's just ONE month to go! Can you tell we can hardly wait?" the studio wrote in its statement, "Well, we're excited (x 3000) to announce all of the awesome things Marvel is assembling at D23 Expo 2019!"

Disney's D23 Expo Twitter handle also put up a post confirming Marvel's participation, saying that "an exclusive Avengers: Endgame video experience and the chance to see sneak peeks at upcoming Marvel Studios film."

We're not quite sure which films might get this "video experience" but we have a feeling that Marvel will drop teasers for its 2020 slate.

Right now, Phase 4 films include Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Black Widow, The Eternals, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder. Scarlett Johansson's very first Black Widow standalone is slated to kick off Phase 4 of the MCU, so it's likely that we'll get to see a teaser of the movie.

Black Widow premieres May 1, 2020.
