She-Hulk: Attorney At Law will follow the cousin of Bruce Banner, Jennifer Walters as she deals with a life-changing moment where she becomes She-Hulk and she will try to balance being a hero and live her normal life all at once as a lawyer.

Not only will She-Hulk: Attorney At Law have a powerful group of women dominate the screen, those behind-the-scenes are also composed of female creatives and the director of the series emphasized the importance of the "female lens" in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

Kat Cairo, the director and executive producer of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law made it a point to have women around her in the creation of the series, "I will be so excited on the day when that is not a big deal. We're not there yet, but I hope that this show is part of that movement, where it's just accepted that some shows are predominantly led by women because that's how life is."

Cairo also explained why women's perspective is pivotal in the series, "It was definitely something we talked about, about inclusivity and making sure that the story was told through the female lens. Comic books have traditionally, in the art, been through the male gaze, and so there was a lot of talk about what is the female gaze and how do we create this from our point of view."

Cairo even cited a scene in the series to prove her point, "One thing I always come back to was one of the wish-fulfillment elements of getting to see her walking down a dark alley, and someone gives her a hard time, and she's able to kick their butts."

Cairo added, "It was something that every single woman could relate to, any woman, of any age. How exciting would it be to walk home in the dark and not worry? She-Hulk is able to walk home, even while wearing headphones, and not worry, because she has the power to not feel vulnerable physically."

Cairo further explained, "I think that's a pretty unique thing that only a group of women could have brought to this, among other much more nuanced things as well."

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law follows Bruce Banner's cousin, Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who has powers similar to that of Hulk after Bruce gave her an emergency blood transfusion granting her powers. Jennifer Walters would do her best to continue living the same life she used to have, as a lawyer and as a hero.

Tatiana Manslany will be taking on the role of Jennifer Walters/ She-Hulk and she would be joined by Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/ Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/ Abomination, Ginger Gonzaga as Walters’ best friend, Renée Elise Goldsberry as Amelia, Jameela Jamil as Titania, Anais Almonte and Josh Segarra.

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law has a new release date on August 18, 2022 and would come out every Thursday on Disney Plus.
