Fans lost it when Marvel Studios announced a Moon Knight series for Disney+ since this is something everyone has wanted since Netflix announced a Daredevil show. Now that we know Marc Spector is getting a show, fans have been wondering about who Marvel Studios will cast for the anticipated series. Interestingly enough, GWW has some interesting information about what they want from a Spector actor and it's kind of weird.
Apparently, they want someone of Israeli descent or to be a "Jewish Zac Efron-type," which is a lot to ask for, to be honest. While Moon Knight is an actual Jewish character, wanting that person to be Zac Efron-levels of good-looking is a bit much. Can't they stick with the usual kind of handsome that Hollywood and its plastic surgery can provide? Come on guys, be humble.
It would be kind of interesting to see them cast Zac Efron for Spector since he's a pretty big name and Moon Knight is/was a C-list character. Granted, the Marvel anti-hero has some of the best stories under the publisher and we're surprised it took them this long to give the guy something in the MCU.
Moon Knight can be a divisive character with fans since many tend to see him as a Batman-ripoff, though he is much more than that now. Sure, he had boomerangs shaped like moons and a sick cape but the character isn't afraid to be seen and has killed numerous times.
Currently, the Moon Knight Disney+ series hasn't been revealed yet.
