Marvel Movie Delay Could Mean the Development of Spider-Woman Movie


Marvel might not be making any major announcements as of this moment, but now that the spread of the novel coronavirus has forced Marvel Studios to push back its upcoming releases, word on the street has started spreading saying that Disney may be developing a Spider-Woman movie for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

For the past few months, rumor has been spreading saying that Marvel may be considering developing a brand new movie for Spider-Woman. While Marvel has yet to confirm whether or not these rumors may be true, speculation has it that Marvel is actually planning to develop a movie for Jessica Drew.

According to a report by ComicBook.com, Disney's new release schedule for its Marvel and Star War offerings reveal a brand new slot reserved for an untitled comic book movie on October 8th, 2021. Marvel might not have any plans to release the true title of the unnamed Marvel movie set for October next year but there's a lot of speculation saying that the film may be meant for a Spider-Woman solo movie.

There's been a lot of rumors going around about the past few weeks lately saying that Marvel may be considering giving Spider-Woman her very own Marvel film. Sure, Jessica Drew might not be part of the MCU, but Sony's deal with Marvel may help bring the hero into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
