For a decade, Chris Evans' name has been intertwined with being Captain America/ Steve Rogers, and with his torch finally being passed, his successor, Sam Wilson, now holds his place in the banners of the pages of Captain America to celebrate his acceptance of his new role in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel Studios seems to be helping the fans and viewers with this transition of title and to be able to move on and accept that the Captain America we once grew to love has finally retired and someone else, someone he has chosen himself, replaces him.

It is, indeed, a lot to take in but it is something we all expected to happen following the passage of the shield from Steve to Sam at the end of Avengers: Endgame. Of course, we all need time to move on from the amazing performance of Chris Evans embodying the character and bringing it to life but with a new Captain America, the legacy continues with Sam Wilson and Anthony Mackie has a lot in store with an upcoming Captain America 4 in a few years.

Welcome, our new Captain America, Sam Wilson!
